Jane is a respected project leader with a strong track record of achieving results.
For 10 years from 1994, she worked in the various incarnations of organisations that funded work based learning, culminating in 3 years working for the Learning and Skills Council at their Coventry and Warwickshire office. During this time, Jane honed her research and planning skills, while also gaining an understanding of the intricacies of Further Education and the community and voluntary sector.
In January 2004, Jane founded Mercia Research & Strategy with two colleagues - Susan Lanz and Marc Bayliss. Between them, and joined in 2005 by Vanessa Wilkes, they made Mercia a strong brand with a reputation for getting the job done. A key tenet of their work was involving stakeholders in the process of getting to findings and then helping them take ownership of the implementation phase.
From January 2007, Jane has decided to go it alone, and is providing that same level of commitment to clients, while at the same time, developing the Plantagenet Consulting brand into one with a wider audience.
